Former Shocker student-athletes will share experiences, lessons, and advice on being a student-athlete, utilizing athletic and university resources, persevering through challenges and finding their "why" in a panel styled event.

The three former Shocker student-athletes that will take part in the panel include Deana Alexander Torgerson, Keomi Johnson and Terri Richter Moses.

Alexander Torgerson, a Shocker student-athlete from 1992-98, was a track and field All-American in the javelin in 1994 and 1998 and also played basketball. She was inducted into the Pizza Hut Shocker Sports Hall of Fame in 2002. Johnson played basketball for the Shockers from 1996-2000, earned first team all-conference honors in 2000 and scored 1,037 points in her career. Richter Moses played softball and women's basketball for the Shockers from 1978-80 and was one of women's athletics pioneers for WSU.
