HOLLISTER, Mo. - Wichita State wrapped up play at the Ozarks National Invitational Wednesday afternoon, finishing the three-day tournament in eighth place.

The Shockers came in at +54 (918), led by senior Louisa Brunt who just missed out on a top 20 finish, tying for 21st. Brunt played her best round on Wednesday, carding a 1-over 73, good for a total of 10-over par (226).

Kenni Henson finished a stroke behind Brunt at 11-over par (227) and tied for 25th. Henson recorded the low round of the tournament for Wichita State in round two when she turned in an even-par 72. Henson also led the Shockers with a team-best eight birdies.

Mar Vidal tied for 41st at 16-over par (232). Vidal was the only Shocker who improved her score every round of the tournament. She opened with an 8-over, before posting a 5-over in round 2 and a 3-over on the final 18 holes. 

Sarah Lawson (21-over, 237) and Megan Lucas (28-over, 244) rounded out the Wichita State lineup in 53rd and 71st, respectively.

Wichita State has a short turnaround before heading to the Little Rock Classic on Oct. 24-26 - the final tournament of the fall season.
