Strong performances against UCF and Tulane earned Wichita State guard

Dennis – 6-foot-5 sophomore from Baker, La. -- scored a career-high 21 points to lead Wichita State past Tulane on Sunday.  For the week he averaged 14.0 points, 9.0 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 1.0 steal in two Shocker wins. He was 11-of-16 from the field (.733), including 5-of-8 from distance, and posted a 4-to-1 assist-to-turnover ratio.

It's the third weekly honor roll nod for Dennis, who is averaging 8.7 points and 5.1 rebounds for the season. He's been at his best in conference play, putting up 11.0 points, 6.2 rebounds and 2.3 three-pointers on 41 percent accuracy.

Wichita State (19-6, 7-5 American) welcomes the USF Bulls to Charles Koch Arena this Thursday for a 6 p.m. CT tipoff. The game airs nationally on CBS Sports Network.
