MIRAMAR, Fla. – Amiya Anoma placed fourth in triple jump at the USATF U20 National Track and Field Championships at Ansin Sports Complex, Saturday afternoon.

Amiya Anoma competed amongst some of the top under-20 athletes at USATF U20 National Track and Field Championships. The Randallstown, Md., native finished fourth overall in triple jump with a mark of 12.63m/41-5.25.

Anoma jumped out to a strong start recording her best mark on her first attempt at 12.63m, good enough to qualify her for the finals.

In the finals, Anoma fouled her first two attempts before landing at 12.15m/39-10.50 on her last jump.

Trentorria Green of Florida State University and Kali Hatcher of Columbia University finished 1-2 and will represent the United States at the U20 Pan-American Junior Championships in San José, Costa Rica in July.
