Austin Corley advanced to the 92nd Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays 400m hurdles finals, Thursday evening at Mike A. Myers Stadium.

Austin Corley advanced to Friday's 400m hurdles final with a qualifying time of 51.43, he finished second in the third heat. His time was the sixth fastest qualifying time of nearly 80 athletes, the top nine times advanced.

Corley will run Friday, March 29 at 5:40 p.m., his race can be seen on the Longhorn Network and the WatchESPN app.

Jed Helker made his 1500m Shocker debut competing in section A, the true freshman finished seventh with a time of 3:57.70.
Ben Flowers ran in section B, finishing fourth in 4:01.88.

Nathan Wickoren clocked in at 9:25.08 in the men's 3000m steeplechase to finish eighth, while
Hayden Bugner placed sixth in pole vault, competing in pit 2, he cleared 5.05m/16-6.75.

Other Shocker performers include,
Pedro Montoya finishing 20th in the 5000m with a time of 15:28.23.
Isaiah Evans and
Cory Martens in the hammer throw, Evans led the way finishing 22nd with a throw of 56.70m/186-0, followed by Martens in 23rd with a mark of 56.16m/184-3 and
Rayvon Allen in the 400m hurdles with a time of 57.07.

Claudia Rojo and
Alexi Whatley were the lone female Shockers to compete Thursday at the Texas Relays. Whatley paced the way in the 400m hurdles finishing 35th in 1:03.16, while Rojo followed in 38th with a time of 1:03.57.

Nearly 30 minutes south on I-35 a trio of Shockers were competing at the Bobcat Invitational, hosted by Texas State University, in San Marcos.
Kelsey Slawson led the group of discus throwers finishing fourth with a throw of 48.40m/158-9, followed by
Amanda Kakoulias setting a personal best throw of 42.25m/138-7 to finish 19th.
Alex Adams finished 27th with her discus mark landing at 38.65m/126-9.

A handful of Shockers will be in action tomorrow at the Texas Relays, beginning at 9:35 a.m., while the majority of the team will be competing at the Bobcat Invitational, beginning with field events at 1:00 p.m., followed by running events at 5:00 p.m.
