WICHITA, Kan. – The Yellow Team pounded out 12 hits on its way to an 8-1 victory over the Black Team in game four of the Wichita State Baseball Fall World Series Friday, Oct. 18, at Eck Stadium, Home of Tyler Field.

The victory ties the series, 2-2, with the fifth and deciding game slated for a 2 p.m. first pitch Saturday, Oct. 19.

Paxton Wallace went 3-for-4 with a double and three RBI, while sophomore outfielder
David VanVooren had three hits, including a double, pacing the Yellow Team.

Jack Sigrist each compiled a pair of hits, with Slavens also hitting a double, respectively.

Redshirt sophomore right-hander
Ryan Stuempfig (1-1) earned the win on the mound after allowing no earned runs on just one hit with a pair of strikeouts and one walk in four innings.

Josh Killeen paced the Black Team offensively, going 2-for-3, while fellow redshirt freshman
Cooper Elliot added a double.

Liam Eddy (1-1) took the loss after surrendering four earned runs on eight hits with two strikeouts and zero walks in four innings of work.
