SCREAMage Set for Oct. 20

WICHITA, Kan. – The Wichita State baseball team will host its fifth annual Halloween SCREAMage on Saturday, Oct. 20, at Eck Stadium.

The event, sponsored by the Wichita Mom's Blog, will start at 12:30 p.m. with activities for kids in the Eck Stadium concourse including trick or treating, pumpkin decorating, a photo booth and Halloween themed games along the concourse.

Games include candy corn bowling, witch hat ring toss, Halloween dart board game, pop goes the pumpkin, jack stack, monster freeze dance, Halloween coloring pages and pumpkin painting.

Food, including cotton candy, popcorn and snow cones, will be available, and Wichita State student-athletes from various teams will be handing out candy.

WuShock and the spirit squad will also be in attendance.

The SCREAMage game with players in costume will start at 2 p.m. After the contest, kids will be able to run the bases and play games on the field with the team.

Gates at Eck Stadium will open at 12:30 p.m. and admission is free. Kids are encouraged to wear costumes.

The SCREAMage will coincide with the Shocker's annual Fall World Series, which is slated for 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 18, and Friday, Oct. 19, and 1 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 21, with a rain out date of Monday, Oct. 22.
