SPRINGFIELD, Mo. - The Wichita State women's golf team is currently in fourth place after the first two rounds of the Payne Stewart Memorial, with American Athletic Conference opponent Memphis and UTEP in a tie for first. Three Shockers are currently in the top 25, with junior Michelle Ledermann being in a tie for 17th as an individual after hitting 76 and 74.

Senior Laine Evans leads the Shockers through the first two rounds after hitting just two over par through 36 holes, putting her in a tie for eighth. Senior Gavrilla Arya is currently tied for 12th after compiling a score of 148, hitting three over par in the first two rounds.

Making her collegiate golf debut, Hana Mirnik hit a 75 in the first round and a 76 in the second round to put her in a tie for 21st place. Freshman Chiara Arya hit an 81 and a 79 and is in a tie for 60th in her first collegiate meet while junior Annika Chickering is tied for 35th place. After hitting an 81 in the first round, Chickering came back with a career-low round by hitting a 73 in the next 18 holes.

The tournament will wrap up Tuesday beginning with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start time. Live stats will not be available, but results will be up on golfstat.com following the meet.
