Shockers Fall in Semifinals to Tulsa, 4-2

Results

DALLAS
- Wichita State fell to Tulsa, 4-2, Friday afternoon in the American Athletic Conference Women's Championship Semifinals at the SMU Tennis Complex.

HEAD COACH COLIN FOSTER
"Disappointing end to the tournament, but we left it all out there. A match that we lost 7-0 last time, and we came out and left it all on the court. Credit Tulsa, they played better today. I'm proud of this team for all they have accomplished this season. Fought through a tough match yesterday, (against Houston) that was our first match in the American Conference tournament. We had chances today, but just came up a little short. Hopefully our season will continue in the NCAA's. We certainly want out season to continue, and we feel like we've put together the resume to allow that, and we'll wait and see."
