PALM DESERT, Calif. - The Wichita State men's golf team is 20th through two rounds of the Wyoming Desert Intercollegiate after carding 294 as a team on day two.
Adrien Michellod continues to lead the Shockers behind scores of 73 and 74 through the two rounds; good for 147 overall and tied for 45th.
Gage Ihrig is a stroke behind Michellod after carding the best score for the Shockers on day two. Ihrig shot an even par 72 to end the day with 148 and tied for 57th.
After shooting a 2-over 74,
Conrad Walcher finished tied for 93rd at 152.
Yannik Emmert finished a stroke behind with 153 and tied for 100th.
Kale Reynolds shot 80 in round two to finish the day tied for 128th with 161.
Competing individually,
Jacob Bishop finished the day in 134th with 165.
California leads the field after carding the lowest team score of the tournament with 274 in round two. The Golden Bears are dominating the field, 15 strokes clear of Texas Tech who is in second with 564. Colorado is third with 565 overall; the Shockers are in 20th with 600.
Round three will conclude the tournament tomorrow with tee times beginning at 7:00 a.m. PT.
