Gregg Marshall will add three talented freshmen to Wichita State's youthful core for the 2019-20 men's basketball season. The trio of Tyson Etienne, Noah Fernandes and DeAntoni Gordon all inked national letters of intent this week during the early signing period.

High School/Prep School: Enrolled for a prep year at Woodstock Academy in northeastern Connecticut as a member of the Post-Grad Gold Squad… Played summer ball for Expressions Elite in EYBL and averaged 12.9 points, 4.8 assists in 21 games… All-Peach Jam Honorable Mention. His high school coach, Jeffrey Pope, and AAU coach, Kirven Lang, both have been a great influence on DeAntoni, and I've enjoyed watching him as a player. He is a super hard-worker, and his body and game are both rapidly developing. I think he will quickly become a crowd-favorite with his athleticism, length and ability to move around the court."

High School: Begins his senior season at LeFlore Preparatory Academy in Mobile, Ala…  In July, 2018 competed in Alabama's North-South All-Star game (featuring the state's top rising seniors). Finished with 12 points, three rebounds and two blocks… As a junior (2017-18), earned second team all-state honors in Class 6A (Alabama's second-largest class), per the Alabama Sports Writers Association… Averaged 15.4 points and 8.3 rebounds… Second Team All-Mobile County (Classes 5-6A)… Led his team to a 28-7 record, the Class 6A Area 1 title and a Regional appearance (final 16)…Team was No. 4 in the final Class 6A rankings… MVP in LeFlore's run to the Gulf Coast Holiday Classic tournament title… Ran with powerhouse Nike Team Florida on the summer circuit.
