LAWRENCE, Kan. – Wichita State's cross country team sent five men and two women to compete at the Rim Rock Classic in Lawrence, Kan., Saturday morning.
 
Kyle Larkin led the Shocker men finishing the 8K in 15th place with a time of 25:31.8, fellow senior Stan Skwarlo, III placed 16th in 25:48.9. Freshman Ethan Kossover finished 19th with a time of 25:54.6, followed by Connor Stine finishing 42nd in 27:09.1 and Aaron Miller placing 66th with a time of 29:11.4.
 
On the women's side, Junior Deidra Walker finished the 6K in 37th place with a time of 24:23.0 and freshman Amber Reed placed 41st with a time of 24:59.7.
 
Wichita State is next in action Oct. 13 at the Bradley Pink Classic in Peoria, Ill.
