WICHITA, Kan. – The Goblins defeated the Ghouls 5-2 in the fourth annual SCREAMage game at Eck Stadium.
 
Captain Jack Sparrow (Jordan Boyer) doubled past a Minion to start the game and scored on a single by HS Quarterback star Connor Lungwitz (Mike Steele) to give the Ghouls a 1-0 lead. Pumpkin (Gunnar Troutwine) tripled and rolled all the way home until being thrown out by a rootin-tootin cowboy (Tyler Davis).
 
Steve Urkel (Alex Jackson) pitch a scoreless top half of the second. In the bottom of the inning, Napolean Dynamite (Tommy Barnhouse) doubled to left past Chewbacca (Sam Goodwin) and scored on a single from the Duck (Logan Easley) to tie the game at 1-1. Sailor (Trey Vickers) hit a fly ball captured by a pirate (Bryce McDermott) to end the first inning.
 
Bull rider (Liam Eddy) hit a rowdy groundball to third baseman Luke Skywalker (Luke Ritter) and used the force to get the first out in the top of the second. Pirate (Boyer) traversed the seas and escaped with an in the park home run to give the Ghouls a 2-1 lead.
 
Minion (Greyson Jenista) singled past a Cop (Adam Keller) and then stole second and third. Duck Hunter (Travis Young) grounded out to Captain America (Keylan Killgore) and scored Minion (Jenista) to tie the game 2-2. Duck tripled and scored on a groundout by Batman to give the Goblins a 3-2 lead.
 
Bam Bam (Paxton Wallace) went wham wham for a two-run homerun to score Kool-Aid man (Jacob Katzfey) and give the Goblins a 5-2 win.
