WICHITA, Kan. – Three Wichita State baseball student-athletes have been named Louisville Slugger Freshman All-Americans.
First baseman
Greyson Jenista, outfielder
Dayton Dugas and designated hitter
Alec Bohm were all named to the first team.
Jenista, from Eudora, Kan., was named Missouri Valley Conference Co-Freshman of the Year. He also earned second team all-Valley honors. He hit a team-best .326 with 36 runs, 56 hits, eight doubles, one triple, five home runs, 32 RBI and 31 walks.
Dugas, from Lake Charles, La., was named second team all-Valley and hit .304 with 28 runs, 49 hits, 11 doubles, one triple, four home runs, 24 RBI and four stolen bases.
Bohm, from Omaha, Neb., was named second team all-Valley and hit .303 with 20 runs, 54 hits, a team-best 13 doubles, one triple, six home runs and 30 RBI.
