Baseball Summer Update #1 (June 13, 2016)
 
Trey Vickers-Fayetteville SwampDogs
Trey Vickers earned the Offensive Line of the Night by the Coastal Plain League on June 8. He had three hits, two doubles, one run, one RBI, and one stolen base when they took on the Petersburg Generals. Vickers is hitting .280 with two doubles and two RBI in six games played this summer.
 
Alec Bohm-Wilmington Sharks
On June 10, Alec Bohm hit two home runs over the center field wall and provided the boost that the Wilmington Sharks needed to snap their three-game losing skid. Bohm's first home run came in the second inning with a runner on and he hit it to deep center to give the Sharks a lead. Bohm did it again in the eighth inning with a solo home run to make the score 4-2. He earned the Coastal Plain League Offensive Line of the Night on June 10. Bohm is leading the Sharks with three home runs and 10 RBI so far on the summer.
 
Gabe Constantine-Mankato MoonDogs
Gabe Constantine has made three appearances for the Mankato MoonDogs and has a 3.48 ERA through 10.1 innings pitched this summer.
 
Josh DeBacker-Winter Park Diamond Dawgs
Josh DeBacker has played in five games so far this summer for the Winter Park Diamond Dawgs of the Florida League and he is currently hitting .278 and has a .435 OBP. He went 2-for-5 against the DeLand Suns on June 9, with one RBI and three runs.
 
Robby Evans –Mankato MoonDogs
Robby Evans has made two appearances for the Mankato MoonDogs this summer and hasn't given up a hit or run in three innings pitched.
 
Codi Heuer-Altamonte Springs Boom
Codi Heuer has struck out nine batters in 5.2 innings over three appearances this summer for the Altamonte Springs Boom of the Florida League. He is 1-0 with an ERA of 1.58, and has also earned a save.
 
Connor Lungwitz-Anchorage Glacier Pilots
Connor Lungwitz has made two impressive appearances for the Anchorage Glacier Pilots of the Alaska Baseball League this summer. He made a relief appearance for two innings on June 8 and didn't allow a run. On June 11, he started against the Peninsula Oilers and threw six shutout innings and allowed just two hits with six strikeouts.
 
Luke Ritter-Anchorage Glacier Pilots
Luke Ritter is playing for the Anchorage Glacier Pilots in the Alaska League, and he has had an impressive start to the summer season. He has hit safely in all four games so far and has posted an average of .313. He has five hits in 16 at bats, two doubles, three runs, and has a .421 OBP.
 
Gunnar Troutwine-Chatham Anglers
Gunnar Troutwine has gone 3-for-9 in his first two games with the Chatham Anglers of the Cape Cod League. He also has two RBI and has scored a run.
 
Travis Young-Newport Gulls
Travis Young has played in three games so far for the Newport Gulls of the New England League, and has had a good start to the summer season. He has five hits, a double, two RBI, three runs, a stolen base, and a .313 batting average.
