STANFORD, Calif. -- All four Shocker distance runners set personal records and entered or improved their Top 10 All-Time ranking in competition Friday in California.
Paul Raymond, competing in the 10,000 meters Friday morning in the San Francisco State Distance Carnival, set a personal record with a time of 29:55.17 and improved his Top 10 All-Time standing at WSU from seventh to fifth.
At the Stanford Invitational later in the day, freshman
Rebekah Topham ran a personal record 4:25.02 in the 1,500 meters to palce third in her section and enter the Shocker Top 10 All-Time list at No. 4.
Also at Stanford,
Sidney Hirsch ran the 3,000 meter Steeplechase in 10:16.71 to finish ninth in her section and set a personal record and also improve her WSU Top 10 time from No. 4 to No. 2 all-time.
Ugis Jocis made it four-for-a-Shocker four when he ran a personal record 3:44.39 in the 1,500 meters to finish first in his section and improve his Top 10 All-Time WSU mark from sixth to No. 4.
