WICHITA, Kan. – Wichita State men's tennis turns its attention to Newman Sunday when the Shockers host the Jets at 2 p.m. at the Sheldon Coleman Tennis Complex.

Last Time Out
The Shockers swept McPherson, 7-0, on Thursday, marking the second victory over the Bulldogs this season. WSU won the doubles point with a 6-4 win on No. 1 and then a 6-0 win on courts No. 2 and No. 3. In singles, Wichita State recorded straight sets victories on all six courts with wins from Tin Ostojic, Jocelyn Devilliers, Haru Inoue, Sergio de Vilchez, Austin Williams and Vitor Mendes.
 
Wichita State Notables
Ostojic moved up eight spots in the ITA singles rankings to No. 78. In the doubles rankings, Inoue and Miroslav Herzan dropped 14 spots to No. 36, but continue to be the highest ranked Shockers. Devilliers and Ostojic slid seven spots to No. 52.

An NCAA Division II member and located in the Heartland Conference, Newman sports a 4-6 record this season. The Jets own wins over Lindenwood, William Jewell, Colorado State-Pueblo and Dallas Baptist.
