Singles Qualifying Draw

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - Haru Inoue, Jocelyn Devilliers and Miroslav Herzan all picked up wins today to advance at the ITF Player's Choice Open.

Inoue - who had a bye in the first round - defeated Jarryd Woog 2-6, 6-4, 6-2 to advance to the third round.

Devilliers topped Aleks Huryn in the first round by scores of 2-6, 6-3, 6-4 and then beat Ritchie Kruunenberg 7-5, 6-1.

In the first round, Herzan took down Norman Love 6-0, 6-1 to advance. Herzan edged out Alexey Nesterov in the second round 0-6, 7-6, 7-6.

The third round and finals remain. The winners of each bracket section will qualify for the main draw. The tournament features collegiate and professional players, and is open to any United States Tennis Association members.
