Jaime Bluma (Baseball, 1991-94)

Jaime Bluma, who ended his WSU career as the all-time leader in saves and appearances with 34 and 114, respectively, was a two-time all-Valley and two-time all-Valley Scholar-Athlete honoree...A member of four NCAA Tournament teams and three College World Series teams, he compiled a career 2.35 ERA and a 16-5 record...He also earned all-tourney honors at the 1993 Atlantic Regional, working six scoreless innings in two appearances...He compiled an NCAA Tournament career 3-0 record with two saves in addition to a 0.48 ERA, which included one earned run in 18 2/3 innings...A first-team ABCA all-Midwest Region honoree in 1994, his 12 saves in 1993 and 11 saves in 1994 led The Valley...He was also named to the 1993 all-Valley Tournament team...Became a member of the Kansas City Royals' organization when he was drafted in the third round in 1994...Originally from Owasso, Okla. Inducted, 2001.
