WICHITA, Kan. – Wichita State men's tennis head coach Brad Louderback announced the signing of Honza Poboril to a National Letter of Intent Friday morning.

Poboril, a native of Valasske Mezirici, Czech Republic, will join the Shockers as one of the top junior players in Czech Republic. He was a member of the 18&U Czech National Championship team that placed second. At the 16&U Czech International Championship Poboril placed first in doubles. Prior to that, Porobil placed first in doubles and third in singles at the 14&U Czech National Championship.
 
"Honza is going to be a strong addition to our program next year," Louderback said. "He's done a great job throughout the juniors in Czech Republic, and he's got a strong desire to help our program moving forward."

The son of Milan Poboril and Marie Poborilova, he attended high school at Gymnázium Františka Palackého Valašské Mezirící.
