WICHITA, Kan. – The Wichita State softball team hosts their seventh game of the fall season on Tuesday, Oct. 6 at 3 p.m. The Shockers will be playing a 10-inning game against the Seminole State Lady Trojans.
 
The Lady Trojans finished their 2015 season with an overall record of, 48-11 and a conference record of, 26-7. The Seminole State softball team finished in first place in the National Junior College Athletic Association in Region II.
 
The Wichita State softball team is looking to continue its winning streak that was extended on last Saturday as the Shockers took down Johnson County Community College, 8-1, and Rockhurst University, 17-0.
 
This fall, the Shockers have nine players that are batting .400 or better and have 14 players that have collected at least one RBI.
 
The Shocker pitching staff also has a combined 1.51 team ERA.
 
Admission to fall softball games is $4 at the gate. There will be no advanced purchase available. Wichita State students will receive free admission with proof of WSU ID.
