WICHITA, Kan. – Wichita State baseball student-athlete Casey Gillaspie has been named a first team summer All-American by Perfect Game.
Gillaspie, a junior first baseman from Omaha, Neb., played for the Falmouth Commodores in the Cape Cod League.
He finished first in the Cape in home runs and sixth in RBI.
Gillaspie hit .321 (53-for-165) with nine doubles, eight home runs and 27 RBI in 43 games for the Commodores.
