Manakin-Sabot, Va. -- The Wichita State University men's golf team looks for its third consecutive tournament title to begin the 2012-13 season at the VCU Shootout on Monday and Tuesday.

The tournament takes place at Hermtiage Country Club, a 6,955-yard, par-72 course in Manakin-Sabot, Va. The field includes the host school, Virginia Commonwealth, East Carolina, George Mason, Iowa State, James Madison, Maryland, Richmond, UNC Greensboro, Old Dominion, and Virginia Tech.
Monday includes 36 holes over two rounds with the final round of 18 holes taking place Tuesday.
The Shockers have already claimed the Diet Pepsi Shocker Classic and Ram Masters Invitational titles this month. Last year, WSU placed third at the VCU tournament.
