WICHITA, Kan.- The Wichita State women's golf team will head
to Springfield, Mo. to participate in the MSU/Payne Stewart Memorial, October
15-16, at Rivercut Golf Course.
The Shocker women are coming off an 18th place finish at the
Johnnie Imes Invitational two weeks ago. Senior Hannah Martin once again led
the Shockers in scoring, shooting a 231 (78-78-75) and finishing in a tie for 47th
place. Fellow senior Natalie Samb finished three shots behind her, carding a
234 (74-83-77).
Arkansas-Little Rock, Creighton, Drake, Drury, Indiana
State, Missouri State, Nebraska, Nebraska-Omaha, Oklahoma City, Oral Roberts,
Rockhurst, South Dakota, UMKC and Valparaiso will join Wichita State in the
15-team tournament. Hannah Martin, Natalie Samb, Bryce Schroeder, Hollie
Weatherburn and Daniela Rugeles will be competing for the Shockers.
Rivercut is a 6,104-yard, par 72 golf course golf course. The
teams will play 36 holes on Monday and 18 holes on Tuesday, with each day beginning
at 8:30 a.m. with a shotgun start.

of competition.
