Box Score NEW ORLEANS, La. - Wichita State (10-3) used a complete game
shutout from Tim Kelley to earn a 1-0 win at No. 24 Tulane (10-4).
Kelley (2-0) allowed just three hits with three walks and
six strikeouts in the game.
Kevin Hall, Chris O'Brien and Walker Davidson each had a hit
for the Shockers.
The Shockers scored the only run of the game in the
first. After one out walks to Tyler
Grimes and Preston Springer, Chris O'Brien singled up the middle with two outs
to give WSU a 1-0 lead.
The Shockers and Green Wave close out the series with a 1
p.m. game on Sun., March 13.
