WICHITA, Kan. ? In partnership with Cox Communications, Wichita State will produce a revamped version of the “Shocker Sports Report” on Kansas Now 22, Director of Athletics Eric Sexton announced today.

Hosted by Mike Kennedy, the show returns with 25 weekly Shocker highlight shows at 9:30 p.m. on Tuesday's starting Nov. 4 through June 2. The show will not air four Tuesdays during that time span, Dec. 22 and 30, March 17 and April 14.

Upgrades to the show, which will be produced by Intake Studios, include a change of venue to the seating bowl of Charles Koch Arena, several live audiences, an upgraded set, and technology that will allow coaches to review game film.

“The upgrades will be tremendous to the look and feel of the Shocker Sports Report,” Sexton said. “Cox Communications, Executive Producer Mark Ewing and Intake Studios will make the program first-class, state-wide television.”

Coach Chris Lamb of the nationally-ranked volleyball team, and several players kick off the first show Nov. 4, while first-year head women's coach Jody Adams and men's players highlight the show Nov. 11. Men's basketball coach Gregg Marshall makes the first of 10 appearances Nov. 18. A tentative schedule of guests can be found at goshockers.com.

In addition, each show will re-broadcast the Wednesday night at 6:30 p.m. on Kansas Now 22.
