The Wichita State men's tennis team took on No. 23 Texas Christian University at Dallas, Tex. on March 29. WSU lost to TCU, 6-0.

"I am very proud of our players today," Chris Young, Director of Tennis said, "TCU was a tough team and we lost some close matches."

Augusto Alvarado was up first for the Shockers. He lost to Jacopo Tezza, 6-1, 6-0. Boris Gubic was up next against No. 64 Andrei Mlendea. Gubic lost, 6-0, 6-2. No. 6 singles player, Moti Eisikovits, lost a close match to Kreigler Brink, 6-3, 6-1. Tiago Espirito Santo lost his match against Radu Barbu, 6-2, 6-4. Goran Vujaklija lost a close match to No. 70 Rafael Abreu, 3-6, 6-0, 6-1. Thiago Dos Santos fought very hard against Cosmin Cotet, where he lost 6-4, 4-6, 10-2.

The Shockers are now preparing for their first conference match this weekend against Missouri State on April 1st at 2 p.m.
