Helm joined the Wichita State Compliance Office in Athletic Student Services as Compliance Coordinator in August 2022 and expanded her role in August 2023 as Academic Coordinator for Women’s Basketball.
Prior to Wichita State, Helm spent a year as the Compliance Assistant at Long Beach State University managing rules education and financial aid. While completing her graduate degree at SMU, she was a graduate assistant in the College Access department with the Upward Bound program, advising high school students through the college-going process and in finding their best fit college.
Helm, a native of Maize, Kan., completed her Bachelor of Science in Human Development from Kansas State University and Master of Education in Higher Education from Southern Methodist University (SMU). She is a member of NAAC and Women Leaders in College Sports and was selected as a participant in the 2022 Women’s Leadership Symposium.
