Biography

As a Junior:

Richey finished the fall season 2005 with 6-9 record in singles and posted 4 doubles wins with Browning. Made to the semifinal at Air Force Academy Invitational falling to

As a Sophomore:

In the spring 2005, Richey posted a 12-14 singles record while playing at No. 5 spot and had a 5-5 mark in Missouri Valley action. Richey posted wins over players from Creighton, Southern Illinois and Evansville. Jackie was named Missouri Valley Scholar-Athlete.

As a Freshman:

Went 4-5 in singles during the fall...Made it to the round of 64 at the Icy Hot/ITA All-American Championships... Defeated Duordje Uskokoivic of Illinois State to advance to the round of 64, before falling to Andy Metzler of North Carolina...Was the only Shocker to compete in that tournament...Went 2-2 in the ITA Central Regional Championships...Paired with Carlo Contente, went 0-2 in doubles.

Before WSU:

Attended Southeast High School. Lettered 4 years in tennis, softball and was a captain of the dance team. 2001 State doubles tennis champion. She competed at the state singles tournament her junior and senior year. Made honor roll all four years and valedictorian of her class. Was a member of student government and National Honor Society. Was Fall Homecoming Queen.

Personal:

Born May 8, 1985. Majoring in Secondary Education with an emphasis in mathematics. Daughter of Keith and Kathy Richey. Has brother, John, and sister Jamie.
