2009 (SOPHOMORE): Ran in all six events for the Shockers...Came in fourth place in the JK Gold Classic with a time of 19:05...Was 34th at the NCAA Pre-National meet with a time of 26:16...Finished 37th at the Loyola Lakefront Invitational, clocking in at 26:08...Was 39th at the Woody Greeno Invitational (26:24) and 46th at the MVC Championships (28:35), his fourth top-50 finish on the year.
2008 (FRESHMAN): Ran in all seven events...Ran a career-best 19:18 at the J.K. Gold Classic in only his second collegiate meet, placing third overall...Came in ninth place at Iowa Open (19:27) and sixth place (26:08) at Missouri State Invitational...Finished 47th at Cowboy Jamboree (25:53) and followed that up with a 32nd place finish at NCAA Pre-National meet (25:26)...Was 18th at MVC Championships with a time of 25:48, his fourth top-25 finish...78th at NCAA Midwest Regionals (33:17).

2010 (SOPHOMORE): INDOOR - Won the 3000m run at the Shocker Quad with a time of 8:43.57, a new personal best...Set a personal best time in the mile, clocking in at 4:24.07 at the Iowa State Classic...Came in seventh in the mile at the WSU Invitational (4:28.79)...OUTDOOR - Set personal bests in three categories...Was fourth in the 5,000m run at the K.T. Woodman Classic with a PR of 15:13.04...Was third in the 3,000m steeplechase with a time of 9:54.19 at the Bobby Lane/UT-Arlington Invitational...Season best time of 9:50.95 in the 3,000m steeplechase at the Oregon Relays.
2009 (FRESHMAN): INDOOR - Personal best fourth place finish at Texas Tech Invite in 1000m (2:34.47)...Ran a time of 4:24.40 in mile to finish fifth at WSU Invite...Had a pair of 10th place showings in mile at Nebraska Tune-Up (4:23.56) and MVC Indoor Championships (4:22.99)...OUTDOOR - Was second at Nebraska Quad and set personal best of 15:17.91 in 5000m...Came in fifth at Nebraska Quad in 1500m with a time of 3:59.60...Personal best time of 9:34.32 at MVC Outdoor Championships in 3000m steeplechase.
Scott City Community High School: Won the 3A 800m, 1600m, and 3200m at the 2008 Kansas state meet...Was the 2007 Kansas state cross country champion...Placed third in the 800m at the 2007 Kansas state track meet, and seventh at the 2006 Kansas state cross country meet......Part of three-time league cross country championship team...Part of two-time Kansas state championship track team...Lettered four times in track and field and three times in cross country and basketball...Earned a 4.0 GPA at SCCHS and a member of the SCCHS chapter of the National Honor Society as well as the Student Council.
