2014 Outdoor: 4x100m Relay - 2nd

2013-14: Outdoor—All-MVC Outdoor Track and Field Student-Athlete in the 4x100m relay…Participated in 14 races for the Shockers while finishing 12 events in the top-12,11 top-10 finishes, eight top-five finishes and one win… Placed second in 4x100m relay at the 2014 MVC Outdoor Championships with a time of 40.95… Won the 4x100m relay at the Wildcat Open with a time of 41.30… Placed second in the 4x100m relay at the Ward Haylett Invitational with a time of 41.73… Earned a third-place finish by running a time of 10.66(w) 100m dash and placed second in the 200m dash with a time of 21.73 at the 2014 ESU Mid-Week Open... Finished fourth in the 4x100m relay with a time of 42.22 at the ESU Spring Open. Indoor—Participated in one race as an unattached runner…Ran the 60m dash in 7.17 to finish 11^th at the Wichita State Herm Wilson Invitational. 

Junior College: Was a NJCAA All-American in the 4x100m relay at Barton County CC in Great Bend, Kan... Also regional champ in the 4x1, and ran a 10.67 in the 100m and 21.50 in the 200m.

High School: Attended Merrillville HS in Merrillville, Ind... Lettered three years in football and one year in track and field... Was named MVP in track and also earned the leadership award... Was named Most Improved in football... Broke the school record in the 55m and 200m... As a senior, qualified for the state meet in three events, and also won conference titles in the 100m and 200m.

Personal: Born Oct. 3, 1992 in Harvey, Ill... Son of Rahim Thompson and Tiffany Conwell... Also recruited by Kent State, Iowa State, Southern Illinois and Indiana State.
