2024-25 (Sophomore): Indoor – Competed in eight meets, completing three heptathlons…Took second in the Shocker Multi with 5,076 points, clearing the highest high jump bar of the competition, 2.03m/6’7.25”…Jumped a season-best 2.07m/6’9.5” in the heptathlon high jump at the DeLoss Dodds Invitational…Placed second at the AAC Indoor Championships in the heptathlon with a season-best score of 5,178 points, earning all-conference recognition, and took fourth in the open high jump with a clearance of 1.98m/6’6”, scoring a total of 13 points for the team.
Outdoor – Competed in nine meets, completing two decathlons…Cleared a season-best 4.50m/14’9” in the pole vault four times…Recorded a season-best 6,813 points in the decathlon at the Bryan Clay Multis, clearing 2.03m/6’7.75” in the high jump for the second-best mark of the competition…Took fifth in the decathlon with 6,752 points and eighth in the high jump with a jump of 2.03m/6’7.75” at the AAC Outdoor Championships, scoring five points for the team.
2023-24 (Freshman): Indoor – Competed in nine meets, competing in three heptathlons…Took fourth in the Shocker Multi in his Shocker debut with 4,432 points…Cleared a season-best 2.05m/6’8.75” in the heptathlon high jump at the K-State Multis, the best mark of the day…Placed third in the high jump at the AAC Championships with a clearance of 2.02m/6’7.5”, earning all-conference recognition and scoring six points for the team…Took fifth in the heptathlon with a season-best 4,705 points at the AAC Championships, recording the second-highest high jump clearance of the competition (1.98m/6’6”).
Outdoor – Competed in seven meets, completing two decathlons…Placed third in the decathlon at the Wichita State Multi with 6,270 points, clearing the highest high jump bar of the competition, 1.99m/6’6.25” and second-highest pole vault bar of the day, 4.00m/13’1.5”…Placed ninth in both the high jump and decathlon at the AAC Championships, clearing a season-best 2.03m/6’7.75” and scoring a season-best 6,282 points in the decathlon.
High School: Competed for Lisbon High School…Was named all-state, all-district and all-conference in the high jump and long jump…Four-time letterwinner…State champion in the 4x100-meter relay and two-time state champion in the shuttle hurdles…Won the Iowa State 1A Team Championship in 2023…Was a member of a state runner-up team and third place team with Lisbon…Also played baseball, basketball and football…Earned academic all-state recognition.
