2015 (Junior): Indoor- Competed in 12 races in the indoor season in the 60m, 200m, 400m and on the 4x400m relay team… Best 60 of the season was at the Shocker Prelude when she ran 8.08, while her best 200 was 26.86 at the Prairie Wolf Invitational… Her best 400m race of the season was 1:00.29 at the KSU Open… Outdoor- Finished 7-of-9 races in the top 10, including helping the 4x400m relay to a fourth-place finish at the Arkansas Spring Invitational… Set a personal best in the 100m at the Shocker Open of 12.76.
2014 (Sophomore): Indoor- Competed at the Herm Wilson Invitational in the 4x400 meter relay and 400 meter dash... Claimed third place finishes in both the 4x400 and 400... Member of the 4x400 meter relay at the Mark Colligan Memorial that came in third with a time of 3:51.26. Outdoor- Ran the 200 meter and 100 meter dash at the KSU Wildcat Open, earning a third place finish in the 100m and fourth place finish in the 200m.
2013 (Redshirt Freshman): Indoor- Sprinted a personal record of 8.04 in the 60m dash to finish fourth at the KSU Open. Improved her personal best in the 200m dash twice throughout the season... Set a new PR of 26.14 in the 200m dash at the Air Force Team Challenge. Outdoor- Ran a personal best of 58.65 in the 400m at the Track-It-Buster Invitational... Finished a season best third in the 400m at the Air Force Twilight Open (58.83)... Sprinted a new PR of 25.79 in the 200m dash to place fifth at the Air Force meet.
2012 (Freshman): Indoor - Did not compete; Outdoor - Did not compete.
High School: Won the Class 2A girls' 100-meters, 200 and the 400 at the KSHSAA 2011 State Track and Field Meet for Peabody Burns HS... She won a total of 12 career state titles... Her personal bests are 12.12 in the 100, 25.23 in the 200 and 56.58 in the 400... Set and improved upon her Class 2A record in the 400m...Lettered four years in cross country and track and field and was in National Honor Society.
Personal: Born Oct. 20, 1992 in Wichita, Kan...Daughter of Darren and Tammy Pickens...Has four siblings, Samantha, Brandon, Amanda and Halie.
