2013 (SENIOR): INDOOR- Placed eighth in the heptathlon with a score of 5,006 at the MVC Indoor Championships. Finished a season best fourth in the heptathlon at the Varsity Apartments Invitational (4,974). Ran a personal best of 2:35.72 in the 1,000m run at the Herm Wilson Invitational. Sprinted a PR time of 7.23 in the 60m dash at the Varsity Apartments Invitational. Posted a personal best of 8.90 in the 60m hurdles at the Air Force Team Challenge. OUTDOOR- Scored a season best 6,874 points to finish fifth in the decathlon at the MVC Outdoor Championships. Ran a personal best of 4:25.87 in the decathlon 1,500m race at the conference meet. Placed fifth in the decathlon at the Shirley Crowe Multi with 6,698 points. Finished sixth in the pole vault at the Track-It-Buster Invitational (14-2).
2012 (JUNIOR): INDOOR - Moved up on the Wichita State all-time top 10 with the 5,120 points he scored in the heptathlon at the MVC Indoor Championships. The multi-event total included personal best performances in six of the seven events...OUTDOOR - Received MVC All-Conference honors for his third-place finish in the decathlon at the MVC Outdoor Championships. He scored a personal-best 7,031 points...Also pole vaulted at the conference meet.
2011 (SOPHOMORE): INDOOR - Competed in two meets for the Shockers in the heptathlon, finishing a season-best sixth place with 4,348 points in the Shocker Quad and Multi...Finished third in the 1,000-meter run portion of the MVC Championships heptathlon with a time of 2:47.97...OUTDOOR - Finished fourth at the MVC Championships with a personal-best 6,568 points in the heptathlon. He won the 1,500-meter run portion of the multi with a personal-best time of 4:32.78. He also set personal bests in the 100-meter dash, 400-meter dash, 110-meter hurdles and shot put portions of the heptathlon...Finished fourth at the K.T. Woodman Classic with 6,547 points, winning the 1,500-meter run portion with a time of 4:33.01.
2010 (SOPHOMORE): INDOOR - Redshirted, did not compete. OUTDOOR - Redshirted, did not compete.
2009 (FRESHMAN): INDOOR - Set personal bests in eight different events during season...Finished fifth in pole vault (14’ 3/4”) at WSU Invite...Was seventh at K-State Open in pole vault (14’ 1 1/4”)...Was seventh at MVC Indoor Championships in Heptathlon (4673 pts.)...Came in eighth at WSU Invite in 60m hurdles (9.65)...OUTDOOR - Set personal best at MVC Outdoor Championships in Decathlon (6319 pts.) to place eighth...Captured top individual honor in 1500m run at Kansas Relays (4:36.69)...Finished second in high jump (5’ 3 3/4”) at Kansas Relays...Had a pair of second place showings at MVC Outdoor Championships in javelin (154’ 7”) and in 1500m run (4:35.52)...Came in seventh at Emporia State Relays in pole vault (13’ 11 1/4”)...Finished ninth in 110m hurdles at Bethel Twilight with a time of 17.47.
Cheney HS: Placed fourth in the Kansas 4A state pole vault as a senior, and fifth as a junior...Helpled CHS to league and regional runner-up finishes as a senior, as well as a runner-up finish at regionals as a junior...Also earned all-league honors in football as a junior and senior...Lettered in football three times, basketball two times, and track four times...Earned valedictorian honors and was named to the principal’s honor roll.
