2012 (Freshman): INDOOR - Finished eighth in the pentathlon at the Varsity Apartments Invitational...Participated in five meets for Wichita State...Ran a season-best 9.79 in the 60-meter hurdles at the Varsity Apartments Invitational...OUTDOOR - Participated in the heptathlon at the KT Woodman Classic, but did not finish.
Chapman High School: An eight-time Kansas state medalist...Placed second in the Class 4A girls' 300 hurdles at the 2011 Kansas state meet, second in the long jump and third in the 100 hurdles...School record holder in the 100m and 300m hurdles...Lettered in track and field, basketball, volleyball and cross country...NCKL all-league three years and honorable mention all-state two years in basketball...NCKL all-league one year in cross country.
Personal: Born Dec. 7, 1992...Daughter of Devin and Jolene Kurtz...Majoring in elementary education...Has two brothers, Brad and Jared.
