2013 (JUNIOR): INDOOR-Won the Missouri Valley Conference Heptathlon Championship with a score of 5,645, the third best total in Wichita State history. Earned NCAA Second- Team All-American Honors with a 14th place finish at nationals. Topped all heptathletes at the MVC Indoor Championships in the 60m dash (7.01),the long jump (23-9), and the shot put (44-2 1/2). Placed second in the heptathlon at the Varsity Apartments Invitational.OUTDOOR- Finished 10th in decathlon at the NCAA Outdoor Championships to earn NCAA Second-Team All-American honors. Shattered the Shocker decathlon record with a score of 7,847 at the NCAA meet. Placed second in both the decathlon (7,599) and the long jump (23-11) at the MVC Outdoor Championships, setting the WSU decathlon record at the meet. Improved his PR in the 110m hurdles (15.57), discus throw (159-9), and javelin throw (183-3) during the season. Placed second in the decathlon at the Arkansas Team Invitational. Finished seventh in the discus throw at the MVC meet with a 156-9 toss.
2012 (SOPHOMORE): INDOOR - Personal-best point total in the Varsity Apartment Invitational heptathlon ranks among the all-time Wichita State top 10 (5,326 points)...Ran a personal-best time of 2:45.34 in the heptathlon 1,000 meters at the MVC Indoor Championships...OUTDOOR - Named MVC Outdoor Men's Field Athlete of the Week...Finished with a personal-best point total of 7,188 at the Trinity Heptathlon-Decathlon to rank among the WSU top 10 in the event. The performance included personal-best marks in three decathlon events...Posted a personal-best distance of 23-11 3/4 in the long jump at the MVC Outdoor Championships for second place...Finished with MVC All-Conference honors in the long jump and 4x100-meter relay.
2011 (FRESHMAN): INDOOR - Won the MVC Championship title with a personal best mark of 24' 8.5" in the long jump at the MVC Indoor Championships. The mark was the sixth-best in school history...Finished second in the Shocker Quad and Multi heptathlon with a personal-best points total of 5,173. The total ranked fifth-best in school history. He finished first in the long jump portion of the multi with a mark of 23' 4.75". OUTDOOR - Finished second in the decathlon at the Mondo Mid-Major Challenge with a personal-best points total of 7,018 points. The total ranked seventh in school history. He won the 100-meter dash (11.09), 400-meter dash (49.62) and long jump (23' 8") portions of the decathlon...Finished sixth overall in the decathlon at the MVC Championships with 6,374 points that included second-place finishes in the 100-meter dash (10.91) and 400-meter dash (49.64) portions of the multi.
