Biography

As a Junior in 2009:
Played in 47 games with 42 starts at third base for the Shockers in 2009… Hit .198 with two doubles, one home run and a career-high 10 RBI… Scored 14 runs on the season and was 2-for-3 stealing bases… Had a career-high three-RBI against North Texas, thanks to a three-run homer in the top of the seventh to give WSU the lead… Had a .325 on-base percentage and was walked 14 times and hit by a pitch a team-high five times… Fielded .927 with 44 putouts and 71 assists… Named to the Dean’s and AD’s Honor Roll following the Fall 2008 and Spring 2009 semesters.

As a Sophomore in 2008:
Played in 43 games with 25 starts, 18 at third base and 7 in right field, for the Shockers in 2008... Hit .200 with two home runs and four RBI while scoring 12 runs on the season... Hit first home run of her career against Western Illinois on March 11... Her two-run homer helped propel WSU to a 4-3 win at Illinois St., on April 19... Fielded .935 with 24 assists... Stole three bases in as many attempts... Hit .222 and slugged .389 in 19 Missouri Valley Conference games.

As a Freshman in 2007:
Played in 28 games for the Shockers in 2007... Scored eight runs on the season and drove in a run with a sacrifice fly at UMKC on April 18... Was perfect in the field with a 1.000 fielding percentage... Played in 12 conference games with two runs scored... Named to the Fall 2006 AD’s Honor Roll and named to both the Dean’s Honor Roll and the AD’s Honor Roll following the Spring 2007 semester... Named to the Missouri Valley Conference Honor Roll.

In High School:
Attended Northwest High School in Wichita, Kan... Played under head coach Merri Copeland... Earned four letters in softball and three in volleyball... A three-time all-City League performer as a pitcher, twice as a second-team selection and once as a first-teamer... Recipient of the team's Most Dedicated Award... Captain of the volleyball team... Batted .420 with 11 career home runs and a 0.7 ERA as a senior pitcher... Tossed two no-hitters as a senior... Hit game tying home run in the state tournament as a sophomore... Helped lead the Grizzlies to three regional championships and a fourth-place finish at state as a sophomore... Member of the Honor Roll, National Honor Society and Spanish Honor Society.
