2023-24 (Redshirt Freshman):
Named to the Fall Athletic Director's Honor Roll... Made six appearances and scored five points... Splashed in his first career three-pointer in a Senior Night win vs. Rice (March 2)... Scored his first career basket vs. #2 Kansas (Dec. 30)... Dished out an assist vs. Friends (Nov. 12)... Made his collegiate debut vs. Lipscomb on Nov. 6... Named to the Spring Athletic Director's Honor Roll... Practiced with the team but did not see game action.

KBCA Honorable Mention All-Class 5A pick as a senior… Averaged 11 points, 4.8 assists and 1.8 steals for a Bobcat team that finished 19-3 during the 2021-22 season and earned a No. 1 seed in the 5A state tournament… Led the state with an eye-popping 5.22 assist-to-turnover ratio and set the school’s career assist mark… Three-time all-league performer helped BLHS to an 80-11 combined record over his four seasons with three United Kansas Conference titles… Averaged 10.2 points, 4.4 assists and 2.7 steals as a junior… Took part in a pair of deep playoff runs as an underclassman… Made the varsity as a freshman and helped the Bobcats to a 5A runner-up finish in 2019… BLHS was one of four teams still standing in 2020 when the COVID-19 pandemic canceled the remainder of the state tournament… Also excelled in track and field, qualifying for state in three different years… Medaled in four events at the 2022 5A state track meet, taking fifth in the high jump and seventh in the long jump while also competing on the Bobcats’ 400 and 1600-meter relay teams…. Member of the National Honor Society…

Birthday is Sep. 24… Son of Michael and Shelby McBride… Father has been boys basketball coach at Basehor-Linwood High School for 19 years… Has a younger brother, Brecklin… Chose WSU in part because of its business school and is majoring in Finance/Real Estate.
