a junior... Saw his only action at the Diet Pepsi Shocker Classic...
Shot a 54-hole total 245 to tie for 74th place... Turned in identical
scores of 80 in the first two rounds before ending with an 85.
As a junior...Redshirted
the 2008-09 season.
Before he was a Shocker...Golfed
for Coach Casey Malek at Dodge City Community College...Won the Jayhawk
Conference championship his freshman season to help the Conquistadors take the
team title...Won five tournaments during his freshman campaign, and took
2nd three times...Haakonsen also experienced academic success at DCCC...Awarded
National Dean's List honors and made the President's Honor Roll every semester.

Haakonsen was born April 25, 1986 in Oslo, Norway...Son of Erik Haakonsen and
Hege-Marie Boerstein...Older brother of Joachim (20) and Henning (15)...Chose
