Before he was a Shocker… Golfed for Coach Casey Malek at Dodge City Community College…Named an NJCAA Second-Team All-American after the 2008-09 season…Played in 10 tournaments as a Conquistador, posting a stroke average of 74.6…Won the Jayhawk Conference Championship held at Sand Creek Station…Finished 19th in the NJCAA National Championship.

Personal… Anders Engell was born on June 2, 1989 in Oslo, Norway…Son of Vegard and Britt Engell and brother to Henrik (22)…Both parents competed as professional wind surfers…Plans to major in business administration at Wichita State…Chose WSU “because of the good golf team and business school.”
