2014 (SENIOR): OUTDOOR-In the 1500m, Burnett ran a 4:00.09 at the ESU Spring Open. Additionally, he ran a 4:29.46 mile at the Herm Wilson Invitational, 8:56.33 in the 3000m, 14:26.54 in the 5000m and a 29:56.53 10K. His time in the 5000m earned him a 4th place in Valley conferences, as well as 5th place in the 10,000m.
2013 (JUNIOR): INDOOR- Won the 5,000m run at the Adidas Classic with a personal best of 15:12.97. Competed in the 1,000m run (4:29.46) at the Herm Wilson Invitational, and the 3,000m run (9:01.83) at the Varsity Apartments Invitational. Ran the 5,000m race at the Iowa State Classic with a time of 15:46.13. OUTDOOR-Crossed the finish line with a personal best of 15:29.37 in the 5,000m run at the Track-It-Buster-Invitational. Ran a personal best of 8:56.33 to finish 17th in the 3,000m run at the Arkansas Spring Invitational.
Junior College: Ran cross country and track Suny Delhi Junior College.
Bainbridge-Guilford High School: Was named athlete of the year and named Most Valuable athlete in track and field in 2010. Letter winner in cross country, indoor track, and outdoor track. Member of state championship outdoor track team his senior year.
Personal Information: Born Oct. 2, 1991... Son of Jeffery Burnett and Shelly Meyers... Has one brother, Corey... Majoring in Physical Therapy at WSU.

2012 (JUNIOR): Ran in four meets for the Shockers...Competed at the JK Gold Classic with a time of 19:06.77…Placed a season-best fifth place with a time of 26:00 at the Missouri State Invite…Finished 240th at Pre-Nationals...Earned a 27th place finish at the MVC Championships.
