Cross Country

2013 (Sophomore): Ran four races as a sophomore, the Butler County Triangular, the JK Gold Classic, the Woody Greeno Invitational and the Bill Dellinger Invitational... Her times were 11:33.30 in the 3K, 15:01.13 in the 4K, 23:03.80 in the 6K and 18:33 in the 5K races, respectively.

2012 (Freshman): Competed in five races for the Shockers including two top-20 finishes...Placed 10th at the JK Gold Classic by running a time of 15:09.96...Was 19th at the Missouri State Invite by crossing the finish line at 19:40, Ran the OSU Jamoree at 19:15.76, good for 36th place...Completed the Pre-Nationals in 211th place...Finished the NCAA Midwest Regionals in 22:58.84.

Derby High School: Lettered all four years in cross country and track... Was a member of the state champion cross country team her freshman year at Derby.

Personal: Born Jan. 28, 1993 in Wichita, Kan... Daughter of Steven and Susan Hornbeck... Has one brother, Eric... Majoring in General Studies-Communications at WSU.
