2015 Cross Country- Finished 41st at the Midwest Region in a time of 31:13.2 in the 10K after earning All-Valley honors again with an 11th-place finish at the Valley meet with a time of 24:25.7 in the 8K… broke Wichita State's 23-year-old 8K school record with a time of 23:54.16 at the Chile Pepper Festival to lead the Shocker men to a third place finish… His time broke the previous record of 24:09.72 set 23 years ago to the day on Oct. 3, 1992, by All-American Mornay Annandale.
2014-15: Cross Country- Competed unattached in two races, the J.K. Gold Classic, where he finished second (18:30.10, 6k) and the Woody Greeno Invite (8k, 26:10.20) where he was third.
Outdoor- Qualified for the NCAA West Preliminaries in the 5,000 meters and 10,000 meters, one of three Shockers who competed in multiple events in Austin, Texas... Johnson finished 28th in the 5,000 meters with a time of 14:35.11, and was 35th with a time of 32:02.10 in the 10,000 meters... Finished second in the 5,000 meters at the MVC Championship... Set the school record in the 5,000 meters at the San Francisco State Distance Carnival when he won the event in 14:03.58... Ran the second-best WSU time in the 10,000 meters at the K.T. Woodman in 29:21.39... Had six outdoor Top 10 finishes in the distance races he ran.
Indoor- Won the Bill Easton Classic Mile and the Herm Wilson 3,000 meters... Finished in the Top 17 of the seven indoor races he ran... Finished sixth in the Meyo Invitational 3,000 with a time of 14:25.13.
2013-14: Cross Country- Had four top 15 finishes, including WSU's second-best MVC Championship effort, placing 13th with a time of 24:58.5 ... Best time in the 8K was 24:59 at the Bradley Pink Classic. Indoor-
Outdoor- At the SFA Sketcher's Carl Knight Invitational, placed 1st with a time of 14:35.72 in the 5000 meters. Additionally, competed in the Outdoor MVC Championships where he placed 6th in the 5000 meter finals and 17th in the 10,000 meters.
Indoor- Was in the Top 10 in seven of the nine indoor races he competed in.
2012-13: Completed in six races for the Shockers.
.. Placed 14th in the JK Gold Classic with a time of 19:23.09... Ran 26:28 to capture 13th place at the Missouri State Invite... Finished 83rd at the OSU Jamboree... Was 236th at Pre-Nationals... Earned a 38th place finish at the MVC Championships by running a time of 25:49... Completed the NCAA Midwest Regionals in 32:31.04, good for 80th place.

High School: Lettered in cross country, track, basketball, and football for Plainville High School... Was All-State in cross country and track and two-time state champion in track... Member of National Honor Society... Named to the honor roll every semester.
