Wichita State Athletics

Bio: In high school, Kaylon was awarded the Most Encouraging Athlete Award and the Outstanding Leadership Award. He also worked as the assistant dance/cheer coach for his local studio and school. Kaylon is an honor roll student at Wichita State and is a part of the MS 200 for the Army ROTC. Additionally, Kaylon is member of the McConnell Key Spouses Program where he volunteers with his spouse and other military members. In high school, Kaylon was involved in Student Council, Leo Club, and was the student body president. Kaylon is majoring in sociology with a minor in criminal justice.

Cheer Experience: He started cheering when he was five years old. At the age of six he made an all star gymnastics team, which consisted of high school age individuals and adults. He has been awarded most athletic, best jumps and tumbling for his division and has earned the spirit award at cheer camp, first place at a few cheer competition, America Cheer, and cheer for a cure competition. He also took home first place in a cheer competition for school cheer, along with best tumbling and motions.
 
Shocker Facts: I have a winning personality. I am passionate about cheer, tumbling, and stunting. I’m ambitious, driven, positive, courageous, and goal orientated. I love watching ghost-hunting shows. In my free time, I love Cheering, tumbling, hiking, kayaking, swimming, working out, and ROTC.
