Kevin Keith begins his second season leading the Wichita State cheerleaders as the head cheer coach.
Keith comes to Shocker Spirit after cheering and receiving degrees from the University of New Mexico (Bachelor of Administration in Management) and Oklahoma State University (Masters of Science in Management Information Systems). Most recently, Keith worked at Spirit Aerospace Systems as a Vendor Business Management Analyst.

"I am very excited about being a part of the Wichita State Cheer program," Keith said. "This school has a rich history of success and there are many thrilling changes that are happening with the university and I cannot wait to be part of it."

Coach Keith was part of the Oklahoma State Cheer program as they finished second in the nation at the National Cheerleaders Association Competition in 2018 and is fired up about bringing his experience as a choreographer and competitor to the cheer program at Wichita State University.

"My goal for this program is to create an elite collegiate level environment that will enhance the Wichita State game day experience," Keith said. "I aim to intensify the atmosphere by creating a contagious energy that electrifies the crowd to increase excitement and crowd involvement. Competitively, I strive to build a program that can consistently compete at the national champion level."
