For more than 100 years, thousands of student-athletes have brought pride to Wichita State University and the community. You may recognize such legendary performers as Antoine Carr, Joe Carter, Xavier McDaniel, Mike Pelfrey, Dave Stallworth, Emily Stockman and Aliphine Tuliamuk-Bolton. However, many other student-athletes have achieved much success after graduation. Regardless of individual or team achievement, all of these men and women are part of the proud tradition of Shocker Athletics.

Our Mission
The Shocker Athletic Scholarship Organization (SASO) sustains all Wichita State University (WSU) student-athletes while pursuing their education. Through your financial support, nearly 250 student-athletes’ dreams of success are realized both on the athletic field and in the classroom.
