SERIES HISTORY
The series between Wichita State and Oklahoma State dates all the way back to the first meeting on March 25, 1978. Wichita State won that first matchup, only to see Oklahoma State win the next 56 in a row. The Cowgirls lead the all-time series, 91-16. Nine of those 16 wins have come under Kristi Bredbenner. The Shockers and Cowgirls have played each other every year since 1984.

LAST MEETING VS. THE COWGIRLS
Oklahoma State completed the season sweep of Wichita State in 2025 in a 10-2 run-rule win in Stillwater on April 15. The Cowgirls won both meetings last season in run-rule fashion, outscoring the Shockers 21-4 over the two games. Wichita State scored both of its runs in the top of the 1st on Jodie Epperson's two-run double, but it was all Cowgirls from there. Oklahoma State scored a run in the bottom of the 1st, three in the 2nd, three in the 3rd, two in the 4th and the final run in the 5th. Four Cowgirls finished with multiple RBIs, including Karli Godwin who was a perfect 3-for-3 with a home run.

LAST TIME OUT
Wichita State is coming off a series win over Tulsa. After dropping the series opener, 11-10, Wichita State bounced back to win the final two games, 7-1 and 9-3. In Game 1, Wichita State trailed 8-2 in the fourth inning but mounted a comeback before ultimately falling by a run. Trinity Allen homered twice, while driving in five of the team's 10 runs. In Game 2, Wichita State jumped out to a 4-0 lead after the first two innings and Ava Sliger had a shutout all the way until the top of the seventh. Five Shockers had multiple hits and at least one RBI. Kammie Smith was the only Shocker to drive in multiple runs to go with a pair of singles. Allen and Ausha Moore combined for six walks between the two of them. In Saturday's finale, Moore doubled twice and drove in three runs. Smith was 3-for-3 with two RBIs and Kinzey Woody hit a two-run home run to power the Shockers to a 9-3 victory. Ryley Nihart threw a complete game, allowing only one earned run on just four hits, two walks and striking out four.

PUT IT ON A TRINI-TEE
During Trinity Allen's current 5-game hit streak, Allen has multiple hits in three of the five games and is 8-for-15 (.533) with 4 home runs, 5 walks, 8 runs and 8 RBIs.

BRINGING THE WOOD(Y)
Freshman Kinzey Woody is coming off a scorching weekend series vs. Florida Atlantic. Woody was 8-for-10 with two home runs and three RBIs. She had a hit in eight straight at bats over the three games, going 3-for-3 in Game 1 and 4-for-4 in Game 2. After her stellar week, D1 Softball named Woody the Mid-Major Freshman of the Week. Through the first 15 conference games, Woody is hitting a team-high .490 (24-for-49) with 4 doubles, 6 home runs and 16 RBIs.

HOME RUN CYCLE
Kinzey Woody has 7 home runs so far in her freshman season. The first 4 home runs of her career completed the home run cycle - hitting a walk-off grand slam for her first career home run on Feb. 21 vs. Creighton, a 3-run home run on March 13 vs. UAB, a 2-run home run on March 14 vs. UAB and finally a solo home run vs. FAU on March 20.
