Jelese Alexander earned American Conference Women's Field Athlete of the Week recognition, the conference announced Tuesday afternoon.

The Bon Accord, Trinidad and Tobago native put up two NCAA top-15 marks at the Arkansas Spring Invitational. She placed second in the high jump with an outdoor personal-best clearance of 1.83m/6'0", ranking No. 1 in the American Conference and No. 9 in the NCAA.

Alexander won the long jump, jumping personal-best marks on every single jump, finishing with a school record-breaking jump of 6.37m/20'10.75" on her final jump. She ranks second in the conference and 14
th in the nation in the long jump.

Alexander and the Shockers head to Eugene, Ore. to compete at the Oregon Team Invitational on April 17 and 18 at Hayward Field.
