WICHITA, Kan. – The No. 3-ranked Wichita State women's bowling team will host the 2026-27 Mid-States Championships on Saturday, October 17 and Sunday, October 18 at Bowlero Northridge.

The Shockers join a field of 27 programs this weekend:

#3 Wichita State, #12 Newman, #15 McKendree, Availa, Baker, Barton Community College, Briar Cliff, Central Methodist, College of Saint Mary, Columbia College, Dallas Baptist, Hastings College, Iowa Central College, Iowa Western Community College, Kansas Wesleyan, Lindenwood, McPherson College, Midland, Oklahoma Christian, Oklahoma State, Ottawa (KS), Quincy, Southern Nazarene, Kansas, Saint Mary, Waldorf.

The complete schedule of events is detailed below:

• Saturday, 9:15 a.m. CT: Six-team games begin
• Sunday, 8:15 a.m. CT: Four 4-game Baker blocks, followed by an eight-team, single-elimination bracket play to determine final standings

In Baker play, all five bowlers take turns to complete a single game, with each player bowling two frames. Each player bowls the following frames:

• Player 1: Frames 1 and 6
• Player 2: Frames 2 and 7
• Player 3: Frames 3 and 8
• Player 4: Frames 4 and 9
• Player 5: Frames 5 and 10

For traditional matches, each of the five players bowls a full game, and all five scores are added together.
