Luke Bracks,
Vanja Hodzic, and
Kristof Minarik have been named to the third-ever College Sport Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Men's Tennis Team.

CSC, formerly called CoSIDA, has sponsored Academic All-America teams since 1952, but this is only the third year that the organization has announced a tennis team list. To earn the honor of Academic All-District, student-athletes must possess and maintain a 3.50+ cumulative GPA and have to be at their current school for a full calendar year. Graduate students must have also maintained at least a 3.50 as an undergrad.

Bracks, a junior and finance major from Tulsa, Oklahoma, was a doubles lineup regular for the Shockers in 2025 and holds a GPA of 3.75. Bracks became a major doubles contributor early on in the season, competing between lines two and three and posting a record of 10-8 in dual matches. Bracks earned victory in five of his final seven decisions in doubles and ended in the year in singles with a triumphant win at line six against his opponent from UAB. Bracks is a CSC Academic All-District selection for the second consecutive year.

Hodzic, a sophomore from Tuzla, Bosnia and Herzegovina, owns a GPA of 3.61 and is a management major. Hodzic was a big contributor for the Shockers in both singles and doubles, posting a dual match records of of 12-7 in singles and 7-12 in doubles. After starting the year off in singles with a 2-4 record, Hodzic bounced back, posting a 10-3 record the rest of the season, including delivering the clinching win in singles for WSU against UAB in the AAC Championship on April 17.

Minarik, a graduating senior and economics major from Boldog, Slovakia, finished his time as a Shocker with a flawless 4.0 GPA. Minarik was the top man for the Shockers in 2025, competing primarily at the No. 1 position in singles and being a regular competitor in doubles. He posted a singles record of 11-9 with his best win coming on March 8 against Santa Clara where he took down the No. 103 ranked player, earning his lone ranked win of the season. He also led the team in doubles wins in the dual season with 14 and won two matches at the coveted ITA All-American Championships back in September with partner
Alejandro Jacome.

Academic All-District honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America ballot. First-, second-, and third-team Academic All-America honorees will be announced on June 4.
